I wish Cambodia a good result in this SEA game...

But I suspect: can Cambodia beat Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia?

You can read all about the BIDC Cup at my blog:

Cambodia beat HAGL two times, the 2nd time was 3-2 in the final on Saturday in front of 30,000 spectators. Both matches were excellent, entertaining encounters.
Cambodia also beat the Laos U23s and lost to Vissai Ninh Binh, when Cambodia gave their squad players a run-out.

Cambodia have spent a month in Vietnam before the BIDC Cup and have returned to Vietnam for another 10 days today, to prepare for the SEA Games.
They know they are in the toughest Group, with Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia but are full of confidence after their BIDC Cup success and will do their very best. They do not have the experience in international competition that the other teams have and this will go against them, though they have a great team spirit, a fighting quality not seen before in Cambodian teams and a desire to show that they want to compete with the best in Asia. Realistically they will need to play well beyond their capabilities to progress through the group, but it's 11 v 11 on the day and who knows what might happen...confuse

Hi Friend,

Good to hear your explanation. It is really useful.

For me, it is hard to believe that Cambodia u23 will beat Thailand and Vietnam, though they have full confidence with themselves. The fact is the fact.

But i do believe in great team spirit, if Cambodia u23 team  possessed it, it would be different.  I mean they make do the impossible happen.

Let's wait and see!

I don't think Cambodia champion of BIDC Cup 2009. It's so interesting!! when Cambodia show me all matches, Cambodian team is the poor team in Asia but can complete the tournament well, I'm so proud of my Cambodia team, I hope in SEA Game in Laos, Cambodia will play well than before.
Bravo Cambodia !!!biggrin

haha, u might fly with the dream. U23 can NOT compare with HAGL. Do you know why HAGL allow your team to win? Just think about it. U know wad happen if ur team was lose? Dont build the castle in the air. U know that V-leauge is in the top 50 excited leauges  on the world?

If HAGL pretended to let Cambodian win. Then HAGL is not a professional and good team at all. VN League is not the big league if this is the case. and whatever, it is already happened that HAGL lose to U23.

In all the future of HAGL is bad if this is the case.
